That's still such an interesting thing to me - other people's boundaries. I know its of equal curiosity to you, too. I know its not just me who assumes that other people have *my* sense of boundaries (I know this because other people hug me!) I generally like a one-way conduit: me touching someone else (not a good boundary to have - its going to get broken and its not "fair" or something). There's reasons for it, etc ( ... )

I really ought to be finishing up my MBU entry (it's written, I just have a pathological need to go over it a few more times), but here I am ( ... )

This was interesting. Peter has almost no personal bubble whatsoever and Sylar's means anyone who is close enough to touch is too close. I loved Peter just completely ignoring Sylar's bubble to scratch his back and "examine" him. (I've never seen a medical exam that requires running your hand through someone's hair.)

Also for the first part, I'm very envious of Sylar. Having someone scratch an itch you can't reach is definitely one of the best things ever. At least in my opinion.

Ha. Yeah, three-quarters of Peter's 'examination' there was pawing at Sylar's hair just because he could, and he had a passable excuse to do it. And Sylar ... I can just imagine his thoughts, much along the line of 'What the fuck are you *doing*, Peter? Do you think you hit me in the hair? Do you think I'm weak right now and you're going to come over here and get your rocks off feeling up my hair? ... Wait, is that what he's doing? No, no, I don't mind ... much. Wait, why are you leaving?!?'

And I totes agree on having someone scratch your back.

Yay! Glad for your comment. I was toying with different ideas of personal space here, too.
