I still love this. Its one of those things that didn't hit me right away, but it lingered and nibbled away at me. The more I read it, the better it gets and I think new things every time, how cool is that ( ... )

That's really interesting. I'm also sad (a little angry) that those folks gave you those impressions. But on the upside, your personal beliefs did not make an appearance here. (I know I'm going to bite through my tongue writing anything about Sylar and Evolution, personally. I have no problem with doing things like "murder" and sex *through* a character, but going against something *I* don't believe in seems like I agree or acknowledge or worse, that I'm propagating this idea! I really don't like that part of it ( ... )

I love prompts! I'm not always able to write to them, though, which makes me feel sad for people who suggest things to me and then I don't deliver. But if I get five prompts, at least one of them will fire off a plot bunny and something will get written. I guess that's better than none, or better than my endless Wall doodles. I had another today that I need to research. I might even be able to work it into our next MBU exchange or three!

Ah, the Peter icon is a new one. Nrrrdy_grrl, crazy lady that she is, made a personalized icon for each and every one of her 200 LJ friends. I was floored and flabbergasted! Can you imagine the work that must have taken? Jeez! Anyway, that's the one she made for me.

I like that Peter looks a bit pissed off in it, and very serious. :D

A lovely offering, as always. Thanks so much for sharing.

I feel like a lot of people tend to ignore the fact that Peter and Gabriel (not Sylar, there is a slight difference) were raised extremely religious and so do believe in God, and divine providence, and all of that. I know a few people pointed out that Sylar wanted the immortality so he would never have to die and be punished, and that's a good point. But it's also good to see Peter still embracing religion, like in my favorite episode (Into Asylum) when he talks to God. It was a good insight into his character, as this was, too.

Sorry if that didn't make any sense.

No, that made wonderful sense! I understand most people staying away from portraying character's religious beliefs. For one thing, they might not match your own and that makes it less likely to be knowledgeable about even the basics. For another, even in the same faith people can have different takes on core principles and one never knows when someone might read your work and want to argue about it ( ... )

This was wonderful as usual! I think this is the first story like this that I've seen and I've gone through most of the archives. Thank you very much for sharing it. :D

First story like it - you mean uplifting/introspective/religious? That's really neat. I've got a 'first'! Yay!
