Aww, that's sweet.
Interesting how Sy kind of clues in that Peter isn't a 'thing' ( a big step of its own), but that Peter is more beautiful as his own drummer and that Sy likes it that way. Or will learn to like it that way. See, there are benefits for not jumping the gun.
(Sy would be pissed if anyone tried to make him change his beat, so less hypocriticalism is always a plus).
Thanks for sharing!

You're welcome! The way I had it in mind, at the point of this drabble, Sylar's clued in that he shouldn't try to change Peter, but it doesn't mean he isn't still irritated by some of Peter's quirks from time to time. It's a lower violence form of how you write Sylar in MBU as wanting to sink his fingers, claw-like, into the soft flesh of Peter's throat. But he doesn't. And here, yeah, he's figured out that A) Peter does not live by the precise, accurate timetable that Sylar does and B) he (Sylar) shouldn't do anything about that.

Sy will learn to love the little differences later on. I would think that would be part of him changing and becoming the person who could honestly say he's never going to hurt anyone ever again.

Thanks! I have a lot of stuff. It's easy to miss things. I really need to make that masterlist of masterlists you've asked for!
