As usual, its been sometime since I have updated. No fear, I am not dead. Its just, the things that have happened to me, aren't really things to put here (I don't mean dirty things). I'm just sorta working really hard on somethings.
Anywhoo, a few things I will share.
I started working for my neighbor again, doing construction. Its nice to have money, and I found out that there is this time called 6am, where people are actually awake. Many redbulls have been had, and I have survived. Yay me.
I saw the Da Vinci Code on opening night. It was decent, enough to satisfy you if you had read the book. If you hadn't read it, then you probably will like it more than I did. Before that though, I somehow ended up getting 3 no fear energy drinks for free all in a 20 second timespan. I promise I didn't steal any of them. They taste like shit.
Saw x-men: the last stand this weekend. That one was enjoyable. Behind Spiderman, the X-men series is the best, and this one had it all: Drama, sluts, whores, comedy, sadness, and a certain memorable line from the Jaugernaut. I recommend you see this one. The worst part of the movie was when the fucking mexican beside me picked up her phone and proceeded to have a loud conversation in spanish. If I could of said "get off the phone and out of my country, beaner" in spanish, I would have. I hate mexicans.
I also hate race fans. There are many of them, they are usually half drunk, and they smell. Whilst Caitlin and I were walking about the mall, we saw a huge mass of them in Bass Pro (naturally), and saw one in a wife beater standing outside American Eagle rubbing his beer belly. T'was disturbing. We weren't sure if he had a baby in there or something. They are even worse when driving around, because they don't know where they are. They drive really slow, and are just plain dumb. I'll be glad when they all leave after the race.
Also, I am slowly becoming a consumer whore. Just today, I went and bought me a nintendo ds. I didn't get a ds game for it, but i really like it. Its something new to screw around with. Eventually, I am breaking down and buying an ipod. Yes, the same ipod I swore I would never own. I can't explain it, but its just so freaking useful, and I'll probably fall in love with it once i get one.
Speaking of Nintendo, my respect for them recently has gone up ten-fold. The more I look at the ds, the more I just like it. And at first, I thought the Revolution (I refuse to call it that other name) would be a bit dumb, but after e3, I have decided that will be the system I will persue when it comes out. Super Smash Bros Brawl has gotten me really excited, and the Ps3 is going to be too damn much. Eventually, I will own a Ps3, but not before I have a Revolution.
I got the new 'Bear' book also. If you don't know the greatness of Bear, get in touch with me, and I shall share the hilarity. Quite possible one of the best things I have discovered and spread around. Just, if you see a random quote in my away messages or whereever, chances are, thats where I got it from. You just have to see it for yourself.
Lastly, I think, I have found many good songs and bands since I have arrived back in Concord. This has verified that Chapel Hill is void of the current music. All they care about are their endless amount of local indie bands (many of which suck). But being back home has allowed me to stock up on good tunes and things, which I enjoy.
I think that is about it for now, till later.
