Current wait time for Telstra Clear is 14 mins and i'm listening to a delightful set of jazzy, grand piano style tv themes...
My assignment quite plainly isn't getting written. It's easy to whinge about it too - so unjust the whole episode. Stupid policies and me wanting to get things tidied away by the end of this semester. AND I only need 13 marks (or percent if you'd prefer) to pass the paper. which is basically the first question. But not having been at class does make things harder - I learn by the talking.
I was about to write that the music was making me feeling like stabbing a fork in my eye when the phone was answered. Lovely customer service too. Hurrah for nice phone people!
There is definitely a whole 'nuther level of respect for call centre staff that comes from working in a call centre style environment.
Steak, taties and a humdinger of a concoction of brussel sprouts flashed fried with bacon and cajun spices for dinner. The Carpenter doesn't eat brussel sprouts, and I'm on a quest to prove that they can be tasty. Nay, that ALL food can be tasty when cooked in different and interesting ways.
In other news, my boobs hurt.
The Little Girl is doing well. It's hard this week not going to see her everyday. But from next week, i'm likely to be spending all day, every day there, in an effort to get her home soon. We were aiming for this weekend but it's just not a reality, so now we're aiming for within the fortnight.
Anyone interested in weekly walks? I was thinking pleasant strolls through the botanical gardens or some such. I'm off work until May next year, so there's plenty of time...
