On a lovely scorching weekend.

35 degrees! OMG! Go Sunday in Christchurch! No wonder I was feeling flakey on Sunday. Good thing we'd planned to spend the day at Purau with The Carpenter's Aunty. Got over there mid-afternoon as the nor'west humitidy hit it's peak and was sucking the life from everything around it. Purau is apparently 'dirty' water so we scooted over the hill a ways more and came to a lovely little bay, enclosed from the winds with big-ish surf and lovely what-used-to-be-shells-sand. It was nice cooling off in the ocean - I haven't been swimming in the ocean for years and years and I felt great after.

Shame about this morning. Stupid.

Oh well. I can spend the time this afternoon writing a shopping list and looking at houses.
