homoz in the cornfields

Oct 23, 2006 09:56

this past weekend a bunch of gayz dragged me out
to Queens to a corn maze of massive proportions.

have you been? i hadn't been to a maze of sorts since i was a wee tike, and even then it was made of two or three cement walls. this however proved to be a real challenge. most people (read: kids) take about 30 minutes. we took hours. and rejoiced at the end with the safety dance workers made of hay.

to navigate this labrynth of cornstalks, pieces of an aerial view of the maze were placed in various mailboxes throughout. once you collected all 8 you were all but ready to escape and be humiliated by a jolly man noting how long it took you to do it. in our defense we kept getting distracted by him over a loud speaker interviewing little tikes at the end. every five minutes or so a little runt would scream into a microphone his or her name and further bruise our adult egos by saying how quickly they had gotten out. they obviously cheated.

Here we are wondering why even out in the "country" there were still cockroaches

The farm animals were not as impressive but we did get to see a number of cocks with very flamboyant plumage.
