Or at least, I keep trying to tell myself that as I get through the stress of my final days here in Toyama *laughs*
Yesterday I got everything squared away at City Hall for the move and I cleaned up my laundry room and kitchen. I also packed up my suitcases and final boxes to make sure everything was going to fit into the moving box on Tuesday. I'm using Yamato's single person moving box thing where they bring you a box/rack that's 1m x 1m x 1.5m and you can pile as much junk onto it as will fit. All together it costs about 25,000 - 30,000 yen ($250 - $300 USD). They're bringing me 2 boxes, just in case, but my goal is to get everthing into 1 box and save myself some cash.
I'm also a bit nervous as to how many bags I'm going to have to carry with me down to the new place in Osaka. I'm going to have a suitcase, a backpack, a purse, and probably 2 additional bags, which is a bit much. I might end up rearranging one of my suitcases and the backpack to remove the electronics and just send them by takkyubin but we'll see.
Now, all I have left to do is clean up 3 years worth of mess in this apartment. Today I'm going to tackle the bathroom and the shower room. Tomorrow will be the living room and the bedroom. And then Monday will be pancking over all that last minute stuff I forgot to do or just discovered had to be done.
In the meantime, I've got Soragumi's Shakespeare to watch as my reward for all my hard work. It better be amazing to properly reward me for all this craziness *laughs*
