Quiet

I am heading for a time of quiet
When my restlessness is past
And I can lie down on my blanket
And release my fists at last

I am heading for a time of solitude
Of peace without illusions
When the perfect circle
Marries all beginnings and conclusions

And when they say
That you're not good enough
Well the answer is
You're not
But who are they
Or what is it
That eats at what you've got
With the hunger of ambition
For the change inside the purse
They are handcuffs on the soul, my friends
Handcuffs on the soul
And worse

I am heading for a place of quiet
Where the sage and sweetgrass grow
By a lake of sacred water
From the mountain's melted snow
-Paul Simon.

I have decided that when I post these I am going to say a few words about what made me post them and why they have meaning to me.

so here it goes. This is a song off of the the Paul Simon album "You're the One" The first lyric really hit me. I need to release my fists at last! This song means so much to me cause I am right where he is. I would very much like to have some peace. Not to say that you, my friends, are not peaceful. I take great solice in your love and support. but I need some peace from myself. I want to be able to just sit in a nice setting and just be. I have had trouble being with myself for as long as I can remember. I need to let everything go and just exsist.
