LJ Meetup, hyperness, and much ilk
So... didn't get the comp fixed today cause I forgot Ben had to work... will do tomorrow.
As for the movies...uh... I've not heard anything definitive, so I'm gonna do it either tomorrow evening if I hear something definitive from people (this means let me know for sure) or just plan for Thur afternoon.
LJ Meetup was tonight at MacNellies. And as much as I like MacNellies I'm not convinced it's the best locale. It's just too encouraging to not move around and stay where you are.
Personally, I was REALLY hyper tonight for some reason which, honestly, isn't really like me. I'm not quite sure why. But damn if I wasn't bouncing all over.
Amy wanted to drink so I agreed to play designated driver for her so she could (though, don't get me wrong, I drank too.. I just made sure I didn't drink a lot and was sober by the time of leaving - she was quite gone) then Heather and Phil wanted to go play some more Fatal Frame so with Amy and Aaron in tow, we went back to my house to play for a few hours. Heather screamed a lot, Phil played, Aaron and I watched, Amy passed out on the couch (I have speciial powers evidently that make people sleep on my couch.. it's amazing!)
Anyway, they all just left, Aaron taking Amy home. I'm still pretty awake... think I'm going to read some Villa Incognito by Tom Robbins which I've been trying to finish for about a year now (not even a big book, just having a hard time getting hooked on it)
OH! And Heather and Tim are going to Hex with me in Springfield on Saturday. We can fit one more if you want to come along.
