Now I've just finished watching The Descent and Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Eirik. I find it amusing how he loves these films. What a funny little guy. He's just like me. We don't find it scary, or upsetting. Just interesting. "How much fake blood did they use to make that ludicrous pond of blood and gore? Jeeez. Musta been alot. You know that's not possible, right? Blood coagulates.."
Helene is here. It's so odd. They're all leaving today though, going to Sjursjøen. Or is it Sjusjøen? Lol. It'll be nice to have the house to myself for some days. I'll probably be all alone too, 'cause H is bound to want to stay at the new appartement.
I can't wait for summer. I really miss Lyngør, and Risør with all their white little buildings, and beautiful sunsets. We live in the most beautiful country in the world. It's amazing that we're so few. I feel like people don't appreciate nature enough.
For the fact that we're so few I blame winter. It's real cold out today. A beautiful day nonetheless. I stood on the veranda for abit, looking at the view, and in the air were millions of silver motes of snowflakes, glittering wonderously.
I like winter. Morten doesn't believe that the seasons affect our moods, and it really upsets me. Discussing things with him is like discussing things with echo.
How can he not believe that though? Winter is so dark. Dark when we get up and go to work or school and dark when we go home at the end of the day. The few hours of light are spent inside. It shouldn't be like that.
The summer is light as heaven in comparison. The few hours of dark are spent sleeping. As we say though ''You shouldn't sleep away a summer's night''. It's true. You shouldn't.
I feel we're all abit like Persephone up here. The months we spend in the Underworld (Winter) we miss the World (Summer). The months we spent in the World we miss the Underworld.
I equally love all the seasons, but when I'm in one, I miss the other. Funny.
