Modest Mouse reminds me of nutella in Bruno's big villa, and how the floor was cold, but the temprature in the house was warm. And how Dana and I used to sneak out on our veranda and smoke pot and giggle at retarded, and egoistic things. We were wretched. But I loved it. I remember how we coloured our hair, and how her shower sucked, 'cause it took ages to get warm. And I remember her writing long letters to the people she loved back home, and I'd mimick her, but I'd never send mine. I remember Stacy, Dana's best friend. They were both so extremely american, they even managed to have drama together while sitting on each their continent. I remember Pallina, and how she'd squeak at the birds flying outside her window. Haha, she'd bite me, and harrass me, but I still love her. And my own attempts at belly-dancing, and having a crush at Laura's brother, the only young, decent looking and non-rebellious italian boy I ever met. Except for Davide. Who is simply amazing, and deserves the world. Mozzerella, walks at the pir, and in the forest where I got my nickname, and among the ancient ruins who nobody bothered to preserve because they were too deep in the woods for tourists to ever come there. And the mosaic.

I'll take you there sometime.
