In that I was cutting up carrots for dinner and one rolled a bit on me and I almost sliced a finger off. Now I have a bruised and very interesting backwards looking cut on my fingernail. I think I should put on a clear coat of nail polish to protect it.

yes they are just as annoying as the dried smoked sausages. I almost slided a finger off but thankfully only sliced half my nail.

oiiiii... almost. I sliced INTO my nail, in the middle of the nail. Not too deep and no bleeding - so I lucky!

No, no bleeding. The slight bruising is already gone and the clear nail polish seals it down quite nicely :) I had sliced into the middle of my fingernail, if that's even imaginable! ^^;;
