So...Charlie Brown has a heartwarming tale of understanding and good will and everyone sings around the little sick tree that magically turns into a gorgeous symbol of Christmas.
wasnt he supposed to direct a show?
didnt people already buy tickets?
arent there schedules and performances?
Maybe when you're 10 or however old the Peanuts gang is supposed to be there are different rules, but I feel kind of like that now...In my super-I-can-do-anything feeling of about a month ago, I said YES when asked to direct a show with a few of my colleagues. It's a one-act with two actors. How could it be difficult? We have our first practice tomorrow. We have tech next week. overwhelmed is merely an understatement. Not to mention the end of the year grading and test making and the impending arrival of our 2nd child...I may need a mental health day or two...but then nothing will get done. I wouldn't mind being able to stop time for a bit tho...
