Okay, my second Freshman Acting Performance Review is in about 10 hours! This has been a very trying 6 weeks. I believe that my scene is strong, though not quite at its full potential, sadly. However, the scene itself is awesome. I am this "doctor" who leads this cult-like following not all that different from L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology, and I am interrogating the main character, who is tied to a chair. The scene is filled with ear-wrenching gum-chewing, chain-smoking, and sharp pyschological terror! The true test of an actor is whether he can play a character that no one (not even himself) sees him in. I think I'll do well with it.
Anyway, only two weeks of class left and a week of finals. If all goes to plan, I should be driving home on Friday, May 5 to be back in Nashua that night. It's scary knowing that college is almost 1/4 finished. Looking back I must say, I am having such wonderful opportunities and experiences, but, more than anything, I miss my friends at home. I will be very thankful to come home and spend the summer with them.
So, with review and my career on the line for tomorrow, I must rest up and prepare. Through the absolutely chaotic nerves and tensions throughout tomorrow morning, the key is to remember that there is nothing else I would rather be doing! THIS IS MY LIFE!!! SRINGARA!
Good night and good luck... ;)
