i have just realised that my blog is getting more readers than i originally thought. how did u guys come to read the blog or know abt it? coz i didn't tell many of my shift.
let me know who u are =) and thanks for staying interested *grin*
well, it's been awhile and i am still job hunting. a good job isn't easy to come by but im sticking to my guns at least till the middle of august *gasp!* before i decide to give the PR line a try. it's been trying to ignore the voices that keep telling me to just accept whatever comes my way, to accept a crappy pay package, or a job with no much room for advancement/growth. but come mid-august, my stubborness wld need to give way to rationale.
it ain't fun being jobless. there's no income so it's sorta cramping my style. don't blame me if im thinking twice abt meeting up folks...the pocket just doesn't allow it and i dun wanna keep asking the parents for money. and im wondering why ATO hasn't cleared my tax returns yet. which reminds me i need to claim my superannuation back! ah! more money, coming to an account near me!
i didn't write anything abt the wedding! it was such a blast!
and my right toes were numb after wearing stilettos the whole day. the price of vanity! the dress was altered. not the best job but at least my chest didn't look lopsided. individually, the dresses looked appalling. but when u put all the bridesmaids together, i must say, we looked rather beautiful. and yes, i made up for the ugly day dress by looking smashing at dinner!
if only i had my camera with me at all times...the bride's gowns were gorgeous. her bridal gown was a beautiful matte ivory duchess satin bustier with a bronze sash and a crinolined skirt. at her derriere, the train was pulled up and held with some roses before continuing their way to the floor. u know, words don't do the gown any justice.
but the highlight of the day has to be the gatecrashing. after all the careful planning spearheaded by yours truly, we didn't even get to do everything! that's coz the groom and his brothers were too eager to fetch the bride. they actually broke into the house via the maid's window and i found out later that the groom was the first in! kudos to him for being so gutsy! and try as we might, the bridesmaids cld not hold the guys back. no casualties reported and all in the name of fun!
told you we looked rather beautiful ;)
i wasn't lying. those eager beavers!
mission accomplished. look at that grin on his face!
