Well I've rped him before on Greatest Journal so I think I have a fair grasp on his character. Not that I want to rush anything.

One potential problem: I don't have AIM and it sounds like this rp relies on AIM. If it's ok for me to not use it, then I'd like a hold on 13, pb'd by David Bowie.

If you really don't want to get an AIM, I find its actually just simple to quickly make one and use something like Meebo or IMO.

Mostly because in this game, we do AIM chats with all of the characters, and its usually very fun. It's fine if you don't want to, though.

First time I'm hearing of Meebo or IMO. Do you mean make an AIM id with which to use one of those?

In the past I haven't been available to make chats and I wouldn't want to hold anyone up because of it. That's why I like threading; it's not so time-sensitive as long as I check back every day or every other day.

Really? It's simple, and there's no downloading. Just go to the AIM site and create a screen name, then just log onto it at either meebo.com or imo.im (:

Yeah, threading is good, especially for players with different time zones as well.

One more question, please. I'm curious how you feel about one player having two characters who sometimes interact. Translation: would it be alright if I also rped Doctor 12? I wouldn't rp them together a lot, only when necessary but I might not ap for 12 at all if you say it's ok for me to have both of them.

That's cool if you're against the idea. I don't rp characters who are likely to interact in a way where one is just there to praise the other and all that bad rping stuff. Nor simply to 'have someone to rp with'. But I know some people don't like so-called 'playercest'. The main reason I thought of possibly rping 12 was to make it easy for any backstory about how 12 became 13 but I'm perfectly happy with just having one character. And with rping someone different if time/circumstance allows somewhere down the rp road.
