An Introduction To Gallifreyians
Hello again LJ. I previously tried you out with thecylon , but that was a spectacular fail on my part. But I figured that if so many others can use you without issues, then I should at least give you a legitimate try this time. My name is Steven and I am sixteen and am known my most people IRL to be an opinionated douche. Here online though I am mostly known through bluestabilizers, or rather my old Tumblr thegallifreyain. I also keep a Facebook, Twitter, Last.fm, and a Doctor Who blog.
As you can plainly tell from my username(s), I am a very big Doctor Who fan. I also have a burning passion for Caprica, Game of Thrones, Luther, Fringe, and the fantastic anime One Piece. I will both rave and rant about these shows and maybe even dissect them on a microscopic scale, but I should tell you that just because I am analytical and criticize the problematic aspects of the show(s) doesn't mean that I don't like it. On the contrary, I think that being able to acknowledge the problematic aspects of a show in a mature and adult-like way really does show how much you love the thing that you criticize.
I also like movies. Lots of them and frequently. Currently I am in love with Joe Wright's Hanna (2011), Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass (2010) and X-Men: First Class (2011), and will always love Mark Romanek's Never Let Me Go (2010), Danny Boyle's Sunshine (2007), Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009). Other films that I like are James Cameron's Avatar (2009), Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window (1954) and North By Northwest (1959), and Christopher Nolan's Inception (2010). God, Inception, I have so many issues with that film and may just write an entire entry about it.
And think I am going to leave this post at that and not go into my music because 1) I linked you to my Last.fm page and 2) I feel that you can probably already tell a lot about me from my taste in film and television. I for one think that a hell of a lot can be derived from taste in movies and TV shows, and wonder what my tastes say about me.
