Jenny Jones needs more love from this fandom. The larger issue though is that this program needs less Alice-centric love from this fandom. Ironic isn't it how Luther's main character is a black man but the fandom's favorite character is a white woman? As much as people don't want to admit it, they all express latent racism.
To be honest, the show is better off without Alice around since her and John's relationship was going in a weird direction. Although it could have payed off nicely had the writers done their jobs correctly.
I sincerely hope that Luther gets a third series.
I also sincerely hope that we get to see more of Jenny along with John in a completely platonic relationship. I want to see her learn to navigate her own life now - free of the manipulations of others - and with John as her good friend.
A third series of Luher would also need some Mark. Whatever happened to the poor dude? He gets a brief appearance in one episode of this series and then we never see him again, despite him being the perfect example of grey morality, and people struggling with their moral compasses.
