Nanoblogmo: Day 4

Nov 04, 2012 22:06

Lazy Sundays are the best Sundays. And I felt ultra-productive because I had that extra hour, which gave me enough motivation to do laundry and actually clean up a bit of the house. So there's that. I'm actually looking forward to work this week, which is exceedingly rare, and this feeling will probably dissipate once I wake up tomorrow morning to complete darkness and have to get ready for work. I'm still not sure of the purpose of Daylight Savings Time, other than to fool our bodies into thinking that it's earlier or later than it really is. Whatever benefit it ever had was destroyed once humans started incorporating light bulbs into our homes.

I'm itching to do some other crafty things outside of crocheting Christmas gifts (because that's what I'm gearing towards in the next few weeks) so I decided to start work on an Eleventh Doctor plushie. Hopefully I've had enough practice with making plushies so that it won't turn into a debacle. I want to finish in time for Gally. We'll see if this is a viable plan once the con gets closer.
