Been very busy over the weekend. Saturday found me up bright and early at the British Museum trying to get some sketches in. I had to leave early to do a charity photoshoot, and only managed to catch Bhav - who was waiting patiently for more furs to turn up for the drawing meet - before I had to leave. The shoot location was near Turnham Green, however the Piccadilly line was down for upgrading, and I decided to hoof it from Hammersmith. In the rain. Which was annoying, as of late I haven't been bringing out my full wildlife wet-weather gear. Bwa.
Shoot was very challenging, but I am certain I have very usable pictures for the choir :) After that, the route back to London was frought with incorrect rail replacement buses, and finally getting so tired I just dropped dead on the bus headed for Shepard's Bush/Hammersmith - at that moment I was very drained and was like... fuck it. I'll arrive at some working tube station that will getme back to the city centers.
After an hour and a half of travel, I finally arrived at TCR to meet up with the furs who attended the drawing meet Cajhne (& SO), Ultrafox, Bhav and er... another fur I can't remember :( Chatted, vented and went home :)
Sunday morning I attended the premier for Nanny McPhee 2 with
rikev , after which we went and met up with Nihahn, and searched for a pub, which we found, that was not yet opened, and then wandered around to yet another pub, wanted food there but the wait was too long, and went down to chinatown via paw transport (artic was winded, and I was quite tired, as the cobra was quite the fit furball scaley. :P)
Having no idea what to eat, we popped by the ever delightful Cafe TPT. After noms, just sent 'em off to the tube then I went home. Laundry, PS3 and yet another sketch practice. Tried sketching at the first pub along the Thames, but I kept breaking my damned 4B leads, and attempting to sketch some metal structure-thing attached to the wall was dead difficult.
Sleepy time, hopefully this week I can do work without being affected by affairs of the heart.
