I am quickly becoming obessed with a film that I doubt will be shown at our local Akron Regal Cinema. Th darling of the fall 2010 film festival circut, Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman's
Howl starring the magnificent James Franco (as Allen Ginsberg), Jon Hamm and Mary-Louise Parker, the film centers around the obscenity trial against Ginsberg's poem Howl in 1957. The trailer can be seen here:

The sad part is I have feeling I'll have to wait for this one on DVD. Our Regal cinema is notorious for not showing "controversial" films.
