Remember that name
Yesterday I went to my parents' for lunch.
While I was setting the table, my mom told me about her new found old friend from school "who is going to write the next Harry Potter".
A few weeks ago, my mom arranged a reunion of her 8th grade class mates. one of them was a good friend of her back then. After the reunion they kept in touch, and that's what my mom is telling me about her:
She has an IQ of 180.
She studied screen-writing on her own, from books and sample scripts. She wrote two scripts, which won 1st & 2nd place at a script-writing contest (out of about 750 participants). They are now in process for filming.
She used to date a rich Oil Lord, and later married a Belgian Millioner. A few years after their child was born, they divorced. She got no money, but her child will inherit some millions :-)
She had an idea for a trilogy of fantasy books, a bit HP-like but more mature & humorous, so she says. She sent an abstract to 14 publishers abroad - they all wanted her to write the books.
So she is now in the middle of the first part.
Her name is Sarah Azar. Remember that name, and if you stay my friends, I may get you signed copies of the next HP book, or invitations to the movie premiere in London...
