Music and food

The Galaxy cast was cancelled, due to copyright problems, damn them.

Am now reading The Rocky horror Muppet Show, written by my new idole: Tom Smith.

The Beethoven concert was amazing, but then Ludwig Van always does that for me.
Miri enjoyed it too but not as much as i did. it was her first time.
(We almost missed it - we arrived at the hall aprox. 2.5 minutes before it started.)
Miri surprised me (again) by buying me a conductor's baton (or stick or whatever it's called), for my own personal use.
Not many have witnessed this: me conducting on an imaginative orchestra playing, usually with my eyes closed and a pen, or any other stick-like object, being waved wildly.
This habit was developed during those boring shifts during my army service.
I love it! with the right music, and in the right mood - it gives me a wonderfull, exhilarating feeling. Some of my favorite conductable pieces are Beethoven's 5th & 9th(finale), Mahler's Titan(finale), Pictures at an exhibition, overture 1812 and some other tchaikovskyada, Sheherazade, Night on a bare mountain and many more.
So now i have a REAL conductor's baton. Yay!!!

The rest of the weekend was great fun as well, except for a huge headache from friday noon till eve (and the EXTREMLY loud music at the wedding did not help one bit; but the food was EXCELENT, and the service too - If you want to Wed,or have a Brith or something at Haifa area - go to "Princess" in Hutzot Hamifratz).
But I don't recommend "Sunrise" Caffe in Kiryat bialik (or is it Kiryat haim? not sure). we went there for the birthday party and the food was kinda dull.
my Ice Irish Coffee was mostly tasteless, the pancakes - though lavish with good stuff on them- were pretty ordinary and dry, Fried Banana with Maple was nice - nothing more, and a good looking pizza wasn't very tasty.

Well, that's enough for today.

food, music
