Thought for the Day:
I'm a firm believer in the philosophy of a ruling class. Especially since I rule.
---- If you don't know, you shouldn't even be reading my journal, blasphemer.
Sometimes I impress even myself. The midterm that was supposed to happen monday, didn't. We were granted an 11th hour reprieve by the professor because he had been absent for the last class and wanted to finish up Othello. I was kind of counting on this so I didn't put much studying in the night before, it's a good thing I know this professor. So now its wednesday, and this morning I figured I was in real trouble because of course I still hadn't done any research on these questions. Of course I get there and he's not there yet, but he drives all the way from PA, so sometimes he's a couple minutes late. So we're sitting around staring at the clock and counting down the minutes until we can take advantage of the 15 minute rule. At 13 minutes he shows up (damn). So now its 10:45 and we have a little over an hour to write two rather large essays, and I know I'm never going to pull this shit off. I write the first one(the progression of Oedipus from pride to humility) but it took me almost an hour, so I'm basically screwed for the second one. Fortunately, I'm not the only person in the class thats having this problem; two other people are also there with me, just starting up their second essay as well. He told us that we should just finish it up and put it in his mailbox, but Christine said she had to work from 2-10, and then i pretended I did too(haha), so he said leave it in his mailbox sometime tomorrow. It's now 2 am and i haven't touched it, which means I'm waking up early tomorrow and finisihing it up, but what else is new. If I wasn't such a slacker I'd think up an entertaining slacker logo. I have it: There are advantages to being lazy, one of them being that I don't have to tell you what they are. I think thats paraphrased, but if you know where I got it from, you're just as crazy as me.
