Update - August

Busy, busy!
Many updates, soon, I'm sure, but as the summer is drawing to a close and the tomatos in my garden are stubbornly remaining green, I think we still have a few days left before fall hits. (It tends to happen early up here in Michigan, USA.) I'm working quite a bit right now on several research projects. One of them, centered around Heian Japan, you can browse through yourself: Heian Cultural Anthropology Project. It is a project headed up by myself and a good friend in hopes to provide people accurate information on the Heian Era of Japan (794-1197). We are still getting much of the content up on the site, but it's a taste of almost three years of research.
Also, I'm going through the arduous process of organizing my poetry to submit two collections for publication. As I do this, I'll be posting a poem or two on the site for your reading pleasure (or at lesat amusement.)
My current fiction projects include:
Hopefully, my other writing partner and I will have news of the first book of our new series as well, Ritual Maddness, as soon as we get our notes toghether and figure out where we want to go with the series.
