Research, revisions and inspiration...
No progress to speak of due to far too many other deadlines that just keep rearing their heads. I have managed to finish the bulk of the line edits, but I must say that there is nothing quite so aggravating than to change hemispheres for the setting of an entire book. Perhaps I should only write stories that take place near the equinox instead of the solstices... as I think I could have had far less to change.
Or perhaps I could make the blasted decision to go from Summer in Brazil to Winter in Quebec before I hit 400+ pages and am down to the last of my revisions...
Next week the first 150 pages need to be ready to send, so I suppose I'll have to get my arse in gear, yes?
In other news, I was on the phone with my nephew last week, and he asked me if I had anything he could read...
*gulp* I told him I would jot off a short story just for him, and mail it to him for his birthday... I didn't tell him, that the reason he couldn't read any of my books, etc, was because the were far too adult for him... He's 12 for bloody sake...
My sister's response as soon as she got the phone back from my nephew was highly entertaining.
