I'm dreaming of a wet Christmas...
Well, yes, you read my title right. It rained all day today. Oh well, I still had fun. I got tons of presents, even though I didn't expect all that much. I am so blessed to have the family and friends I have.
Last night, my mom and I went to my dad's as we always do, to celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. We usually wait till midnight to do our presents, as is the Filipino tradition, but this year my dad threw us for a loop. He had this crazy game all planned out in which 5 people drew from a pool of 60 presents. He had numbers all made up and encased in Altoids Gum cases. We picked a number then drew the corresponding present. It was crazy, but it was a lot of fun... plus we all got to trade at the end.
Then today, after brekfast, my mom and I came home and did presents. I got LotR:RotK EE!!!!!!!! I'm so happy about that. I also got a new blanket and 2 CD's and some other stuff. After we did presents, we went to Kati's Sister-in-law's Mother's house. (I know that's a mouthful). I didn't expect to get any presents their, either, but I did. Hehe. All in all, a very profitable Christmas.
And Thank You, Lord Jesus, for coming a little over 2000 years ago to be born as a human and live a humble life, die, and rise again so I could one day be with you.
