1. I have an irrational dislike of snakes. (I don't want to say fear...but they make my skin crawl.)
2. At least one man who is not my husband refers to me as his "wife".
3. I took tap-dancing lessons for 12 years...all through school. I stopped after grade 12, partly because I was going into grade 13 (yes, it was still called grade 13 back then) and partly because my friend Catherine, a year older than me, was also quitting because she was going off to university.
4. I sometimes read several books at once - not all at the same time, obviously, but I often have a few on the go at any one time...a mystery, something non-fiction, and maybe a cheesy romance, too.
5. While most of the TV I watch is of the crime/medical drama like CSI, Bones, or House, I am addicted to Desparate Housewives, which is the closest I've come to being hooked on a Soap since High School.
6. I'm one of the most "low maintenance" women I know - makeup? what makeup? The one thing about my appearance that I'm remotely vain about is my hair, which I'd love to grow out, but don't have the patience to live through the nasty in-between "I'm growing my hair out" look.
