School might as well be here already, because the summer is dead. In the past, I've dreaded the day I would have to go back to school once more, but I'm actually quite indifferent this time around. Perhaps I never really had a "proper" summer, what with the UCSB program and all, but it doesn't even seem like I had a break at all. A majority of my free time (at least up until this week) was devoted to either working at the movie theatre or studying for the SATs. Now, as the hours near, I'm fruitlessly trying to make up the "fun" I've been missing. Yet, the truth of the matter is, I don't think there's any room left for the summer anyway. It's time to move on. It's time to learn again.
And besides, my current classes look to be both fun and challenging. I start the day early in the morning with Calculus, probably my least favorite class. After that, it's pretty much smooth sailing. Economics, English, Government, and lastly Chemistry, which should be fun although I have no idea what I'm in for.
Anyway, I need to get up tomorrow early so I can help out at Freshman Orientation running the debate table. Later.
