Pickleball!
Richard and I have been getting back into pickleball after a long time away. On Saturday, I played in a new teams tournament, or actually the precursor for it, figuring out how it all would work, and I can't say my play was stellar. However, it was evidently good practice, because today I was back to the ladder play again and I got a 45 -- perfect score. The best part was that I played the best pickleball I can remember ever playing. Things just went beautifully. When I made a drop shot, it landed just over the net. My line drives were good and went where I wanted them to. My overheads were high and landed just inside the line. I did make some boo-boos, hits into the net or out, but mostly they didn't cost us many points, and we still came back to win. It was a lot of fun and has boosted my confidence. It's always a great game, but so much better when you do well!
