If LJ ever goes down and doesn't come back up (like www.thegreatestjournal.com),  I do not plan to gravitate to any other like community.  I will however retain my galedreamer@hotmail.com email account indefinitely if anybody wants to be in touch.  Not that LJ's demise is imminent, but I remember feeling a panic years back when other sites closed; last night when LJ was down, I just felt relieved.
