Boy have I been exhausted lately.
Given the opportunity, I probably would end up sleeping until the mid afternoon- something I've never before been able to accomplish. I need a haircut.
It's the new year, and Graduation is only several months away. Until then I can occupy myself with working, drawing, playing music, sleeping, and of course, paying many visits to sierra grill, garden catering, and the post road diner. The thing about junior year is, i feel like there was always something to do whenever I went out. Now it's a vague group of people gathering a a vague location to do. . .something. I think this is a mentality that evolved sometime after I went to Colorado, Aegis was finished recording, and Sean was back in Florida. It's always the same group of people, or a variation on the same group.
Sometimes when I go to bed I will fall right to sleep, however there are some nights when I just lay awake, staring out my skylight, hoping for a snowstorm to cancel school the next day, and just thinking about all the things I'd rather not...especially right before falling asleep.
You know: embarrassing memories, bad mental pictures, things I should have done but never did, etc. I feel like nothing gets to me when I have other things to focus on, but, when I'm supposed to be relaxing and falling asleep, My mind occupies itself with MORE things I'd rather not think about.
Eventually I do fall asleep, but I wake up exhausted the next day- more exhausted than when I went to sleep.
I should probably stop playing video games before sleeping.
Mr. Pavia gave to me yesterday a copy of the letter of recommendation he wrote for me...In it were some of the nicest things anyone's ever said about me.
Also- Ben & Trudie want me to suggest to them someone to take over my job for a fourth day- and for this I'm very excited, especially if that means I only have to work two days a week instead of three. I suggested Casey Herz, and I'm giving Trudie his contact information tomorrow, they'll probably end up calling him this weekend...I'll format it hopefully so I work Tuesday and Thursday instead of Monday, Tuesday, and Fridays. That would be key.
I'm off to do nothing important.
