So I'm back in Minas Tirith. It's been a while. I wonder if Noro is still here...

Noro: . . .

Galdor: Noro! *CLINGHUGS*

Noro: @.@

Galdor: *loosens his grip* I'm sorry. Noro, my darling, I'm so glad I found you!

Noro: @.@

Galdor: What's wrong, my love?

Noro: @.@

Galdor: Norolinde...?

Noro: ::sways::

Galdor: *catches her shoulders and holds her firmly, but gently* What's wrong, Noro?

Noro: You . . . you're . . .

Galdor: Yes?

Noro: A . . . live?

Galdor: I am. I came back for you! Oh, my love, I've missed you. *hugs her tightly*

Noro: . . . ::meeps softly::

Galdor: *loosens his grip but doesn't let go* How have you been?

Noro: A . . . live.

Galdor: Noro... *looks at her for a long while* What's wrong?

Noro: You're alive. @.@

Galdor: That's what's bothering you?

Noro: No, just . . . oh. ::puts a hand to her head::

Galdor: *hugs her close* It's all right, I'm back now. I won't leave you again.

Noro: o.o Um. ::pats his back::

Galdor: Hmm? What now?

Noro: I . . . sitting. Need to sit.

Galdor: *takes her to a table and sits her down* What's wrong?

Noro: ::swallows tightly:: You're . . . where did you go?

Galdor: *eyes go distant* I had things to figure out. *looks back at her* Then I got lost. For a long time. I'm sorry I left, Noro. *kisses her hand* I shouldn't have left you.

Noro: . . . oh . . . kay . . . are you . . . are you hurt? Are you hungry? Have you slept?

Galdor: *shakes his head* I'm fine. *squeezes her hands* I'm so glad I found you!

Noro: Eee. o.o

Galdor: >.< I'm sorry. *rubs the backs of her hands with his thumbs*

Noro: Eee? ::looks up at him::

Galdor: What is it, Noro?

Noro: I've . . . Galdor . . .

Galdor: ...yes?

Noro: ::blinks as her eyes start to tear::

Galdor: *blinks and is kneeling at her side in a second* Noro, darling, what's wrong? *takes her hands in his and holds them gently*

Noro: . . . ::isn't sure whether to wail or to faint or to scream::

Galdor: *looks up at her and waits patiently, still holding her hands*

Noro: ::decides to scream::

Galdor: *winces and squeezes his eyes shut*

Noro: . . . ::and then faints::

Galdor: o.o *picks her up and looks for a room to go to* .... perhaps there is an empty room somewhere... *opens a random door and, finding no one, sets her gently on the bed* Noro, darling?

Noro: -.-

Galdor: *goes through some drawers and finds a cloth, dips it in water, and wipes her face gently with it*

Noro: o.o Wet!

Galdor: Noro, are you all right? *sits next to her*

Noro: . . . um.

Galdor: What happened? o.o

Noro: Do you want a baby too? o.o

Galdor: What? Noro, what are you talking about?

Noro: Do I have to have a baby for you?

Galdor: No, of course not. Noro, where are you getting these ideas?

Noro: . . . because all men want babies.

Galdor: No, that can wait. *smooths her hair from her face* I'm glad you're all right.

Noro: ::blinks:: Can I faint again?

Galdor: What's wrong, love?

Noro: I feel an intense desire to be unconscious. And maybe dead.

Galdor: o.o Why?

Noro: Mandos seems really nice this time of year.

Galdor: Noro, going to Mandos is no game.

Noro: I've been before!

Galdor: *eyes widen* You have?

Noro: A lot of times.

Galdor: Oh Noro, I'm so sorry I wasn't here... *hugs her*

Noro: ::stiffens slightly::

Galdor: *notices and lets her go* Something's not right.

Noro: ::shakes her head:: No, it's not.

Galdor: *looks at her* What is it?

Noro: ::curls her hands around her arms and looks at her fingers curiously::

Galdor: *raises a brow slightly, asks gently again* What's not right, Noro?

Noro: ::softly:: I didn't give it back?

Galdor: Give what back?

Noro: His ring. I thought I gave it back . . .

Galdor: *firmly now* Who's ring?

Noro: ::slowly drags her eyes back to his:: My husband's.

Galdor: *raises an eyebrow and tightens his lips* Your what?

Noro: ::speaks louder:: My husband.

Galdor: *stands up and folds his arms* You remarried? *more of a statement than a question*

Noro: ::sighs and plays with her rings:: Yes. And I had children.

Galdor: That explains the screaming and tension. Children, you say? *mutters* Where's that bastard? I'll kill him.

Noro: ::stands up quickly and grabs his arm:: NO!

Galdor: *looks at her curiously* No?

Noro: Why would you do that?
Noro: You left me, Galdor!

Galdor: Then I'm as good as dead. *pulls his arm from her grasp* You can go back to your husband.

Noro: I can't! He . . . fuck, he left me too.

Galdor: What would you have me do, Norolinde?

Noro: Don't come back and expect everything to be okay! I had a life to live, Galdor, and . . . and I lived it.

Galdor: Of course. My mistake. How could I expect you to love me now when you never did before? Please. Go live your life.

Noro: ::shuddersighs:: How could you?

Galdor: *raises a brow at her*

Noro: How dare you come back!

Galdor: *evenly* I came back for my wife. She's not here any longer.

Noro: No fucking kidding!

Galdor: Good day, my lady. *turns and walks out*

Noro: . . . auuuuuuugh! ::slams the door::

Galdor: *makes plans to leave the city*

Noro: ::tears open the door again:: Will you at least fucking take your ring?

Galdor: *hurt, keeps his back to her, voice even* Keep it. Sell it if you want.

Noro: . . . like that worked the first time I tried it!

Galdor: *turns around, voice extremely low now* Fine. Throw it out the window. Give it to a maid. Why are you asking me?

Noro: Because what else am I supposed to do with you?

Galdor: With me? There's nothing left to do with me, Norolinde.

Noro: ::bitterly:: I could always fuck you.

Galdor: *coldly* Why lower yourself to it?

Noro: Because that's the only way anyone wants me anymore.

Galdor: *clenches his jaw* Why do you think I came back?

Noro: I don't know why you married me, Galdor.

Galdor: I don't either. But I did, do, love you. Not that that matters now.

Noro: No. ::her face twisted:: It doesn't. I've got . . . ::hoping to hit him deep:: I've got lovers just lined up around the block!

Galdor: *growls* Then damnit, woman, go BACK to them! *clenches his fists*

Noro: ::steps right up to his chest and glares up at him:: Maybe I don't WANT TO.

Galdor: *glares down at her, hurt* Then DON'T. Why are you telling me?

Noro: I don't . . . fuck. ::wipes her eyes::

Galdor: *closes his eyes and takes a deep breath* Noro, don't.... don't cry. *gives her his handkerchief*

Noro: ::waves her arm at him:: I don't want your sympathy. Go . . . ::choked sob:: Go away.

Galdor: You think this is sympathy? *tightens his jaw* Fine.

Noro: ::swallows:: Go. ::leans heavily on the doorframe for support, holding her head:: . . . go . . .

Galdor: *nods slightly and turns, hastily wiping his eyes and walking slowly away*

Noro: ::sinks to the floor::

Galdor: *stops* *shakes his head to himself and goes back to her, kneeling next to her* I can't just leave you again.

Noro: ::clutches at her stomach:: hurts . . .

Galdor: *hesitantly puts a hand at her shoulder* What hurts?

Noro: It hurts . . .

Galdor: What does, Noro?

Noro: ::grasps his hand tightly::

Galdor: *picks her up and puts her back on the bed, sitting next to her* What hurts? Do you need a healer?

Noro: ::shivers and shakes her head::

Galdor: *frowns and holds her hand, smoothing her hair back with the other* What's wrong, Noro?

Noro: ::inhales sharply:: No . . . nothing.

Galdor: Tell me. There's no one else here to help you.

Noro: I'm fine. I have to . . . . get to my bed . . .

Galdor: *holds her down* You can't go anywhere. Now what's wrong? People don't just clutch at their stomachs and make a face showing pain for no reason.

Noro: It's nothing, I can fix it. ::struggles against him::

Galdor: *holds firmly* Fix what?

Noro: ::weakly:: I don't know.

Galdor: *frowns* We need to get you to a healer. *picks her up again and heads that way*

Noro: ::clings to him:: No!

Galdor: *stops in the hall and looks at her* Why not?

Noro: Have to sleep. Have to . . . watch.

Galdor: That can wait. *continues to the healers*

Noro: No! Please!

Noro: ::shudders and clings to him::

Galdor: Noro, you have to be well to be able to watch others. *holds her close and hurries to the healers, putting her on a bed and calling for someone*

Noro: I have to watch my babies! ::twists on the bed::
Noro: ::screams in pain::

Galdor: *worries, waits for a healer to show up* Shh, Noro, you'll be fine, love. *finally, when one does* There's something wrong with her stomach. Hurry, please!

Noro: ::clings to his hand weakly::

::fade to black and bring it back::

Noro: ::unconscious::

Galdor: *sits next to her, holding her hand, upset, but more worried about her*

Noro: ::moans softly and turns her face to him, not waking::

Galdor: *brushes the hair from her face gently and kisses the back of her hand* God, Noro...

Noro: ::shivers::

Galdor: *pulls the blanket over her body and tucks her in, then sits back down next to the bed and takes her hand again*
