[Anise has since abruptly let go of the doll - it's back to its regular size now, on the ground - and is staring at it in shock.]

[...Ciel walks on over to her at this. A bit surprised at the face she seems to be surprised]

[Oh, it's that grumpy kid! Anise nods absently.]

Oh, ah, yeah. Just - surprised. Didn't expect it to do that...

[...What-] Did you loose control of it, the... Tokunaga? [He has to pronounce that carefully, it's still so alien on his tongue]

Control of it...? I've never... I haven't seen one of my mother's Tokunagas in years, and I don't think I've ever quite controlled it like this...!

But just last month you rode it out to the store to help me with those cats...

I remember helping you with that cat infestation, but rode it out...? [Stares at the doll.] You can ride on this thing...?

I witnessed you doing so, even.

[But now he looks at it... she does look different]

[galddigger]

[She shakes her head.] Sorry, kid. This is a lot to take in. I mean [glances at the doll] would that thing even support me...?

[soulbait]

[...Again with the kid. Why is this gir- ...she is more of a woman now, isn't she? Sigh. This is so strange...]

Oh. [That's right, she's supposed to be a tiny fourteen year old.] That's... actually pretty ingenious. Would've been pretty helpful if I had one of these, back in the day.

Indeed. Such a machine would be beneficial for both transport and combat, should it come to that.

[galddigger]

[She picks the doll up, and after a heartbeat it grows in size again. Anise manages not to shriek out this time, and still hold onto its arm.]

I can still make it work just fine, though. I wonder what else I can do with it?
