[Bruce raises an eyebrow, and looks at the very large doll, then back to Anise.]

You mean this was an accident?

Well, I certainly didn't plan for it to do something like that...! [Anise retracts her hand, and the doll immediately shrinks down in size.]

... This is crazy. What on earth...

Some sort of magic, maybe? I can't see it being anything else... This is the first time I've seen a doll defy the laws of physics.

[Anise pinches the bridge of her nose, and has one hand on her hip. Augh, this is so confusing.]

It's a doll built to work around my fon frequency - and I'm not sure I know how to explain those laws of physics...

People tell me that it's supposed to be what I usually fight with, in battle though. And honestly, I've been a soldier for the past eight years - I've haven't seen a doll like this since before I joined the Oracle Knights.

[Anise raises just one eyebrow at him.] I'm eighteen, actually. I got - ah - enlisted when I was around ten... Long story.

A little over a year, if we go by the calendar that this place has to offer. Though to be honest, I've been having some - issues with what I remember, too.

The Oracle Knights form the military hand of the Order of Lorelei - it's the central religion of the world I'm from. I'm in the Fon Master Guard division, and I protect the Order's most important person, the Fon Master. You'd think it doesn't sound difficult, but [She laughs.] Ion has a knack for getting himself kidnapped.
