[Looks like Anise left her journal on and recording again! She's in the kitchen as she tends to be these days, evidenced by the kitcheny sound of running water, cutlery being moved around as well as a few chopping noises here and there. Sounds like she isn't alone, either!]
... No, you can't has a - I mean, have a cheeseburger! I'm not making

After deciding to visit the library for the first time since he's been sent here, Dist had been forcibly placed onto a tron bike and, despite his knack for technological devices, he still crashed. Into the side of a building.
It's a damn good thing he's "tenacious as a roach" or he'd have come away with more than a bruised ego and a few scrapes. But he'll have to repair his glasses again, too. Ugh! Oh, and just wait until he finds a cat or two in his room.]

Saphir! What happened to you? [and don't swear like that.]

These charlatans that call themselves scientists decided it'd be oh, so hilarious to send me rocketing through the village on a whim, against my will! Though the design and structure of that device was incredibly fascinating and I'd love to study it if it didn't crash--
...
[Oh, dear, he's found the cats. And...a whole heap of his clothes, some personal, all over his room. Any shred of compassion for animals Dist has left leaves him in about five seconds.]
GET OUT, YOU VERMIN, BEFORE I CUT YOU OPEN!!
Reply
[There will be no cutting open of anything living or dead in this house except the vegetables. The glare was formidable. Nephry's calm will turn ice cold if he keeps it up. She doesn't expect him to listen to reason, but to not try for some would be dumb; she's politely ignoring the mess in the room]
Are you hurt?

[She'll be coming from the kitchen, then, eyebrow arched. The door is left slightly open, though, because another cat has decided to make an appearance.]
What's going on?

I'm fine! Nothing but a scratch and--

Okay, this is scary, man. ;__; And he usually likes cats. More or less.]

[and he seems distracted enough. Carefully picking the broken glasses up off his desk now. No wonder he's worked himself up so much.]
We seem to be overrun with cats today.

No, there was another one... This one's different, I'm not sure how he got here. At least he isn't asking for cheeseburgers.
[She turns to Dist.] And what happened to you?

Finally tearing his eyes away from the cat, he faces Anise and grimaces. Thankfully, it's not at her, just this entire situation and day in general.] I was on my way to introduce myself to the local library here, but as I was on my way, I was suddenly thrust onto this strange looking...I think it was some kind of vehicle. If it didn't crash - with me on it, mind you - I would have loved a chance to take it apart! It's perhaps the most advanced piece of technology I've seen in this filthy rat hole so far!!

[goodness, is it going to be like this all the time in this house?] Saphir, I'm glad you weren't seriously hurt. If you want some time to compose yourself, we'll keep the cats out of your way.

[And she turns to leave, at Nephry's suggestion. But not before making one last comment - ]
You know what, I think I'll keep you! Sweet little Jade, because your eyes sort of glint just like the Colonel's~!
[She leaves with her newest pet perched over her shoulder - who happens to be giving Dist one last look]

Once Anise and basement cat are gone, he turns to Nephry and looks a little panicked, though he tries to act serious.] Nephry, that cat is not staying in this house. I allow Peony's filthy beasts to roam free already, much to my everyday dislike.

Now, if you'll excuse me, you seem to have your hands full in here, and there's another cat in the kitchen ceiling asking for food.

Clearly. This must be some kind of joke, or one of those 'experiments' the guides have warned us about. I honestly don't know what kind of scientific gain they get from--[Hold up.]
There's a cat in the ceiling? [Seriously, what.]
