SO GOOD BEIN' HOME!

Feb 24, 2005 16:54

ok, so jet lag really really sucks, my arms and legs feel like they're made of lead, and it's really hard to keep my eyes open.

Got home yesterday and showed off all the random stuff i bought to my family, there was one thing i bought that they especially thought amusing.....Laura you know what that is. But I didn't let anyone show my grandma, that just would have been weird.

I came home to a few surprises, I guess i'm not a track captain, which is total bullshit, we all know that Tracy is gonna be the person doing all of the captain stuff anyways, it's what i've been doing all damn year, it's been me and Willie doing everything, i haven't seen anyone else trying to organize mass workouts so that everyone is off their asses and not totally out of shape.

What i didn't like coming home to was drama. Damnit why can't life be simple every once in a while? But no, people have to make it difficult. So heres another mess that i have to try to fix.

And since certain people are mad at certain other people, it may be quite hard to give gifts from the trip................life gets slightly more complicated.

I realize that this post sounds really bitter, but i am glad to be home. I'm just half asleep and it's easier to think of things that happened yesterday and today then of what happened in the whole past two weeks, so i'll give you the quick run down of the trip:

long flight
athens - the acropolis
cruse to poros, hydra and agina
Tolo - including a night club
olympia - ran on the original olympic track
delphi
good food - spinach pie(!), french fries(?), chicken(?) and pork chops(?)
cape sunion
sleepy sleepy
wakey wakey
Roberto and Rachael
funny and interesting stories from Laura and Ester
grecian drama
another long flight

oh, and i learned one thing that was very interesting

Greek boys can't dance
