The Bad Boys of Rock

6 a.m. That's what time I got up yesterday. 7:45 a.m. That's what time we got to Merriweather Post Pavilion yesterday. 1 a.m. That's what time we got home. This was the first time I waited ten hours to get into a concert (doors opened at 5:30 p.m.), and I don't regret a minute of it. We stood in the front row, which was maybe five feet from the stage, and we were just a little off from the center of the stage. It was fucking insane. Buckcherry was a bunch of crazy mother fuckers, though they looked a lot older than I imagined them. We got a couple picks and a broken drum stick from Papa Roach. They were really insane, especially Jacobi. He was crowd surfing, walking through the crowds, and everything else. And Hinder, as always, kicked a lot of ass. Their set up was awesome, and they had a sort of light and movie show going on behind the drummer. Austin was constantly down and walking through the seated areas or standing on the barricade in front of the pit. I even managed to shake hands with him as he walked by. I got some crazy pictures too; I'll have to post them up here once I upload them to my computer.
