(no subject)
I had such a shitty day yesterday-- I went into work after only 2 hours of sleep (if you could call it that) that way I didn't have to work the night of NYE. I had to take Brad to work AND pick him up.....I was super tired all day but whatever. I figured I would sleep once we got home and then go out like planned.
Well on my way to pick him up an SUV cut me off on the freeway near an off ramp with a ton of construction...he got on the off ramp but since he obstructed my vision I swerved left to stay on the freeway because had I gotten off the freeway too I would have hit another car. I almost hit some construction cones and all of a sudden I see police lights in my mirror.......you guess it-- I got pulled over.
I was freaking out because it was a scary situation to begin with and then to be pulled over as well....he ended up giving me a ticket for a gore point violation. Greeeeeat. It's not THAT big of a fine ($130) but its money that I don't have. I asked him if he saw that the SUV cut me off and he acknowledged it so im curious why I was the one who was pulled over.
I was 45 minutes late picking up Brad and he was pissed....by the time we got home it was 4pm....I crashed out and woke up noon today. =(
Brad said that I should fight the ticket...I think im gonna go back down there and take pics of the construction zone because it wasn't my fault. Shitty.
