That was my first thought. I'm still waiting for Gotei to call us back and say: also, swing by Lambda-4 and pick up a vat of crazed, man-eating porcupines or some such....or not. But I wouldn't put it past them.

Perhaps the fruit is laced with some sort of drug... or 'apples' is code for a mystery lifeform?
Gotei certainly knows how to create suspense.

Why would someone store porcupines in a vat ?

They know how to create suspense? That's a nice way to put it. I sometimes suspect them of simply rattling off random items that don't necessarily have to be delivered.

No reason? It seemed weird enough to suit Gotei shipping standards though.
