Almost about to say that it was her mother that he was in a relationship with but quickly refrains not wanting to know what kind of damage that would bring about.

As for your "insight" to my past and my personal life, I would advice you keep your thoughts to yourself. If I recall the last time your people crossed paths with an unknown race you almost ended up extinct, because of your wonderous "talent" of understanding what you know nothing about. If I were you I would learn from your peoples history and their past mistakes lest you risk repeating them again...
