you seem to have an affinity for au's where the government is an oppressive unjust bitch, huh? hahah (: jk usually those do inspire the most intriguing plots~

anyway, i really liked this. like. a lot. kris the rebel, lu han the softspoken, sehun the jolted new kid who tries so hard to fit into the mold given by his new country. funny because lu han tries so hard not to break the rules, kris is doing his all to escape it, and sehun is the weird happy medium where he's discontent with all this but complies just to spend time with lu han.

On the way out, between two burly, sullen-faced security guards, he gives Lu Han a wink that makes him feel sick to his stomach. and sometimes lu han wonders if kris was brave for fighting or foolish because -- really -- there's no way out.

sigh sigh sigh. you're horrible for making luhan choose. the entire part where sehun is dragging lu han away and he's having this mental struggle is heartbreaking. one must wonder what would've happened if lu han had stayed and tried to find kris, if it would've made any difference. hm.

im not sure how it would have turned out if luhan had chosen kris--i tried to write it out for myself but it wouldnt come. so maybe this is the way it was meant to be? ;;;;;;
