[Ranka was gone.
Again.
She'll sit in Michael's apartment in silence for several hours before wandering back up to her own. She doesn't want to sit around in an empty apartment brooding over someone leaving. It was better that Ranka had left this place behind her. Sheryl was stronger than her dear friend and could endure whatever this place threw at her. Ranka... was too scared despite being more confident than she'd ever been. Sheryl would rise and live in this hellhole to the best of her ability in honour of Ranka.
She'll put on a simple pair of shorts and a tank top before pulling her hair into a messy bun, slipping into sneakers and making her way into the village.
Today calls for a little retail therapy. First place would be the clothing shop where Sheryl will pick out all kinds of new outfits to add to her closet. One could only wear the same clothes day in and day out before they began to feel stale. It's time to mix things up with some new pieces, boots, shoes and accessories. She doesn't care how full her arms get or how heavy the bags become. She's going to enjoy this day in the only way she knows how.
After hauling around all the bags for a little bit, Sheryl saunters into the item shop as she easily plucks out a sparkly pen and a notebook in case inspiration hits and she needs to write some lyrics. So far, nothing was coming out in this place but perhaps Sheryl was just too busy being a prat for her own good to take in the sights around her. Despite the heat, Luceti really wasn't that bad of a place to look at. It was... idyllic in a way and claustrophobic in another.
People will sooner or later find Sheryl lost in thought near the fountain humming Northern Cross while she taps her pen thoughtfully on the coiled spine of her notebook. The pages were laden with idle doodles and thoughts of home scirbbled upon occassion onto the page with the utmost care.
The next place to stop would be on her way home to drop off her finds for the day before she'll make her way back into the plaza to find something to eat. Pizza? Teriyaki? Okonomiyaki? There's so many things that Sheryl's never tried and she's tempted to try so many of them. She'll walk past the closed Seventh Heaven during her wanderings and wonder about all of the work that's going on around the building but will wander past it eventually.
Sheryl eventually settles with heading back for home in the first community building as she starts to sing on her way home. She's singing any song that comes to mind and takes her time going back. She's enjoying how her voice carries in the openness of Luceti's wilderness, content in the knowledge that the power of music can still hold the power to heal a heavy heart.]
gdit malnosso,
hey i'm still around,
singing,
burn it to the ground tonight,
malnosso bastards
