Sudden Realization...
Drew and I went to the movies tonight.
We saw "Anacondas: The Search for the Orchid" or whatever it was called. It was an awesome movie. Highly intense, though. I recommend it for thrill-seekers. From what went on between Drew and I tonight at the movies... I realize that there's nothing going on between us that is more than friends. I'm totally fine with that. I come to realize that Drew and I aren't as compatible as I thought we were. No loss, though. Drew is an awesome friend. Couldn't be more satisfied.
When I was driving home from the movies this evening... listening to Blink 182... I realized this as I cut the light thru the DHS parking lot...
School. Woah.
That's like... tomorrow.
Today is officially the last day of summer.
Everything...
from here on out...
will be totally different. Things will NEVER be the same.
I'm growing up. It's so weird. Senior year. Starts tomorrow. I always thought of my senior year as something hypothetical. It didn't seem like it would actually happen. It seemed as if I would be stuck in those first 3 years of high school for the rest of my life. It seemed like a point in my life that would take decades to reach. Now it's actually here, and now that it is... it seems so different in reality, rather than hypothetically. Well, no shit. But, I know ya'll know what I mean.
Watch out DHS, here I come.
I'm bustin' thru. It's my last year! I'm a changed girl from the time I walked out on my last final exam of junior year. COMPLETELY different. I'm so happy with how I have changed this summer.
So I repeat.
