That's because no one, from the network to the affiliates, bothers to set video levels on their news footage anymore.

Sad state of affairs. I remember watching the Presidential Debates, and seeing a different shade of skin tone on every channel.

I'm not sure what they are supposed to represent either. It looks like someone draped a bunch of really garish tablecloths over metal frames and called it "art."

What part of the park were you in? I was in the 75th st area on the East Side.
