Well, someone who read this blog - yes, people do that sometimes, it's freaky - asked me about Pedobear.
Tonight is Halloween, Pedobear's favorite time of year, when he stalks the streets looking for new "friends" to play with.
Given that, I feel it's my solemn duty to inform you about Pedobear.
Consider this a public service announcement.
Pedobear is a master of disguise.
He can strike anywhere.
And at any time.
He may appear benign.
And very convincing.
Pedobear mostly works alone, but has some high profile friends.
The police are aware of his activities, but unfortunately he often has a rock solid alibi that keeps him from serving time.
Despite this, Pedobear has a long and unfortunate criminal record.
How can you protect your kids? Well, there is no 100% effective method, but there are preventative steps.
Inform your children of the danger.
Avoid video games that encourage a benign view of Pedobear.
If spotted, run away as fast as possible. Do NOT to try to engage with or discourage Pedobear.
PLEASE remember that Pedobear never actually has candy.
If there has been a Pedobear sighting in your neighborhood, do not allow your children to go trick-or-treating unaccompanied.
Pedobear is also known by the aliases Pettington Bear and Rupert The Raincoat.
