New Year's
Haven't had as good a New Year's as this in a long time. Actually got on the dance floor, and the usual TribeCon festivities seemed a little more manageable because attendance was down and there weren't as many peripheral people I didn't know well, which let me forget about the awkward social aspects and just chill out. Not having the kidlet around was also a disinhibiting factor - thanks S and J for setting us up with the babysitter.
Unlike just about everyone else I've talked to, for whom 2010 seemed to be particularly difficult, I was sad to see the old year go. But I have high hopes for the new year as well.
