It's Talk Like a Pirate Day and I almost missed it! Thanks to K for showing me her nifty LJ icons with patches (available only to paid members, apparently).
On a slightly related note, there are strange billboards around here with a pirate holding flowers and riding a motorcycle, with the phrase "je t'adore" on them. Nobody I've talked to can figure out what the ad is actually for. Internet searches have been fruitless. Any ideas?
