Yes, once again, I'm at school right now. I'm listening to my Count Basie CD again too. Love that Swing!

So, I just got out of my Readign and Composition class(The one with the Venezualan teacher with the thick accent.)I really like that class. We have a discussion every class about the previous classes homework. And if you know me, you know I love discussions in class.

So, we have to pick a topic for our first essay. And I think I have picked mine already. Though I don't know how good it will be. LOL, might actually offend some people, depending on how they are.
I was thinking of making my essay about discrimination of religions.
America has come a long way from racial discrimination(Though the country still has a LONG way to go with that too) but no one really looks at discrimination from a point of religion. And it's not just Christianity, it'sn muslim, Judism, Athiesm, etc. It's all around.
A lot this past year, I've seen this type of thing. From some people not wanting to hang around those who do not share their religion, from other people saying that they are not aloud to date another because they are not of that religion(In Christianity, dating someone who is not a christian when you are is called "Missionary Dating", it comes from where the bible says to not be with someone who is not Christian because they will make you lose your faith.)
This is all around. With the muslim religion, marrying someone who is not of that religion, can cause you to be disowned by your family, or in some other countries, if you are a woman and you marry outside your religion, you can be killed. All this for choosing love over faith.
To me, when it comes to choosing love or faith, I choose love. But that's not saying much for me, when I, in reality, have no faith. I used to be of the Christian faith, but my faith left me a long time ago.
That said, even people without religion at all can discriminate. Some one who is Athiest can totally hate one person just based on the fact that they believe in God.
When will the people all around see that it's not who you believe in that matters, it's the person that you are?

Well, that's the main idea of my essay. I really don't know if it will offend a lot of people, most likely it will offend a few. But I have no been able to stop thinking about the topic for a while now.

Anyways. This CD rocks. The trumpet section is superb. Mike Williams rocked my world last night. He was hitting notes so high, I thought glass was going to break somewhere. Can you say ORGASMIC! LOL
Butch was pretty cool to. He's probably one of the best drummers I have seen in a long time. And his name is BUTCH! I was just saying about a week ago, how you never see anyone named Butch anymore. So seeing that they're still out there was cool. The Count Basie Orchestra did this song called "Drum Thing" last night, where Butch had this really long drum solo. It blew my mind.

I can see myself going and buying a few more Count Basie CD's. I'm totally getting in to a new Swing faze :-D

Well, I'm all out of things to say now. I still haev 40 minutes till my next class starts. Music theory. IT's gonna be cool. Dory's an awsome teacher.

Bye all!

Love you Robby!!!!!!!
